Equipment

York Hackspace has equipment for members to use. Some equipment is owned by the Hackspace, and other equipment is on long-term loan from individual members. As per our Safety Policy, some equipment has associated training which must be completed before use - please check the page for the relevant item.

If there's any equipment you feel we should have but currently don't, please suggest it on the mailing list (ideally), or on Discord. We have funds available to purchase equipment if there's sufficient interest/utility for the general membership, or may be able to part-fund the purchase of equipment if other members are also willing to chip in to purchase less common tools. We may also able to house member's equipment on a long-term loan basis as long as other members would be permitted to make use of it and as long as there's sufficient space available.

PPE

All of the following are kept in the PPE cupboard, behind the whiteboard:

• Hand sanitiser/facemasks/etc for COVID-19
