Gloves
Chemical / Biological Skin Protection
Based on experience, nitrile tends to be better than latex mechanically, and chemicals tend to permeate it less - especially nasty things like Epoxy hardner (bisphenol A). Some people are allergic to latex gloves. Disposable PVC gloves are really thin and not so great for the types of thing we use.

For particularly nasty chemicals or where mechanical protection is needed, consider some thicker gloves specialised for what you're doing.
